Maoz, King George 19

Falafel is the popular Israeli vegetarian snack that can also be a light meal. Made of ground and seasoned chick peas, deep-fried and served in fresh pitta (flat round Arab bread) it is accompanied by a large selection of oriental salads, pickles and sauces of your choice, usually displayed on a free bar.

Shwarma is made of grilled turkey meat seasoned with typical oriental condiments, slowly rotating on a large skewer and cut up for you in front of your eyes. Like Falafel it is served in a choice of pittas, salads, pickles and sauces.

The famous Maoz Falafel-Shwarma is a family business established in 1955 and located since 1965 in the central King George street. A popular place for Israelis and tourists to enjoy a light meal at an extremely modest price.

Maoz is open Sunday to Thursday from 9am - 11:30 pm. On Friday's after 3:30 and on Saturdays we are closed.

All the food is Kosher Lemehadrin (strictly kosher).
